Tender Years Inc

Tender Years, Inc. is an Early Childhood Development Center that is licensed by the Department of Public Welfare, accredited by the Department of Education, and a participant in the Keystone STARS Quality Initiative Program. It is a family owned and operated corporation that has been serving the families of Central Pennsylvania for over 28 years. This single-level child development center will accommodate up to 135 children between the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years of age. For your child’s safety and your own peace of mind, entry is limited to the main lobby area, and has a security code system. An off-street drop off area is convenient to the main entrance. Each classroom in the facility is specially designed for each specific developmental group. The center also offers a large fenced playground area for gross motor skill development. Tender Years, Inc. offers licensed Early Childhood programs for infants, young toddlers and older toddlers. Tender Years Academy at Tender Years, Inc. offers licensed and accredited Preschool, Prekindergarten, K Readiness and Kindergarten Programs. All programs are taught by highly qualifed and experienced staff. Tender Years Academy teachers are additionally all licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. All of the programs at Tender Years, inc. follow a standard based curriculum. In addition to our thorough standards based curriculum, Tender Years Academy students also learn Spanish language, American Sign Language, science and music. Experts in these learning areas will be visiting your child’s classroom on a regular basis to enhance your child’s academic experience.
