St. Paul Homes, a mission of the United Church of Christ, is a retirement community located in Greenville, Pa. Established in 1867, it offers active independent living choices, assisted living options, Alzheimer s disease and dementia care services, and nursing services. Its modern nursing facility includes giving intravenous injections, tube feeding and changing sterile dressings on a wound. It offers two memory support units for residents with Alzheimer's disease and other related dementias. The independent living options are two-bedroom cottages and one-bedroom apartments, with access to its services, such as maintenance, housekeeping, meals, transportation, emergency nurse visits, fitness programs, social activities and spiritual services. Assisted living in apartments includes participating in a variety of social, recreational and spiritual programs and community events, that include games, exercise classes, luncheons, shopping trips to retail and grocery stores, as well as meals, personal laundry services, medication management and assistance with housekeeping.
