Spenser Pleta, AuD Spenser Pleta, AuD, is an audiologist with AHN Primary Care Institute. She performs comprehensive hearing exams, immittance testing, hearing aid selection/fitting/verification, and balance evaluations. Dr. Pleta went to medical school at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia and did her residency at Pittsburgh Ear Associates in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders from California University of Pennsylvania in California, Pennsylvania. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Her goal is to encourage every patient to feel comfortable and knowledgeable about how to take care of and manage their hearing health. Dr. Pleta sees patients of all ages.

His scope of expertise encompasses a comprehensive range of procedures for degenerative joint diseases of the hip and knee. From direct anterior and STAR approaches to the hip, partial and total knee replacements, and complex primary and revision surgeries, he employs the most innovative strategies to achieve the best results for his patients. Dr. Duke’s goal is to employ state-of-the-art tissue sparing and rapid recovery pain management strategies, which help to facilitate same day discharge and to optimize patient recuperation in the comfort of their own homes – a strategy that has demonstrated superior post-operative outcomes.

Ryan M. Ridenour, MD

Dr. Ridenour is a foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeon who has extensive training in all conditions associated with the foot and ankle. He is a Pittsburgh native, growing up in Washington Township and graduating from Kiski Area High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Allegheny College where he majored in Biochemistry and played football for the Gators. He attended medical school at Penn State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society. He stayed at Penn State to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. Following this, he completed a fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Duke University in Durham, NC. While at Duke, he was privileged to train under some of the most nationally recognized foot and ankle surgeons where he learned to assess and treat all disorders of the foot and ankle including primary and revision total ankle replacements. As a foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Ridenour focuses his practice on treating all orthopaedic conditions associated with the foot and ankle. He utilizes a team approach where patient-centered care is the primary focus in order to provide his patients with excellent outcomes. He continues to update his practice to provide patients with the latest advances in foot and ankle surgery and was fortunate to train with many of the surgeons who helped pioneer these techniques. Dr. Ridenour met his wife, Allison, while in high school at Kiski Area. Allison is a nurse practitioner and they were excited to return to their hometown where they look forward to raising their children. When not taking care of his patients, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well as many outdoor activities including golf, fly fishing, hiking and hunting. He is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. Dr. Ridenour looks forward to providing you with the best care and helping you on your way to recovery.
