Centre Hills Country Club

Centre Hills Country Club is a premier private golf club situated on a gently sloping hilltop near Mount Nittany in Centre County in State College, Pa. The country club sits on 85 acres of land. In addition to the 27-hole championship golf course, Centre Hill Country Club also has facilities for tennis and swimming, as well as a dining room and grill room. Originally a nine-hole design, the golf course expanded to 18 holes in 1967, and in 1992, an additional nine holes were constructed. The original nine holes remain virtually unchanged, with the exception of two new greens and several new tees. The upper tee on the fourth hole was inaugurated by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Centre Hills Country Club opened in 1922 and is located near Pennsylvania State University.
