History

Hello, welcome and thank you for spending time browsing my site. My foray into photography was around 1979 when I purchased a Fujica SLR, associated lenses and a bunch of accessories. I felt so empowered with this set of gear and went about shooting pretty much everything that caught my eye. Over time, I found myself hanging out at camera stores, drooling over Nikon equipment and eventually, just before leaving on a round-the-world trip in 1988, I bought a Nikon FE2 body and 2 lenses. I've been making pictures for well over 35 years, covering weddings, family & friends, public events, commercial engagements and sports. Many of the latter years have been dedicated to sports and I have worked for international photographic agencies and held national media credentials in many professional sports played in Australia as well as NCAA College sport here in the USA.
