Operating in Philadelphia, Pa., Together House is among more than 80 programs maintained by Gaudenzia. Gaudenzia offers comprehensive outpatient and residential programs, addressing specialized substance abuse treatment, prevention and education needs of men, women and children. Gaudenzia operates a long-term residential drug and alcohol treatment program, Together House, for dually diagnosed men who participate in the Forensic Intensive Recovery Program. The program s capacity is for 22 men. The Together House program represents a partnership between Gaudenzia and the City of Philadelphia and the criminal justice system. The main goal of Together House is to successfully place men back into the community and the community-based Mental Health System and recovering community. The Together House offers services that encompass individual and group counseling, gender specific group sessions, psychiatric evaluation and consultation, nursing services and medical monitoring, social work and case management services, education remediation, substance abuse education, life skills management continuing care planning and aftercare.
