Silicon Gallery Fine Art Prints, which operated from 1994 to 2016, was a prominent art venue in Philadelphia, showcasing over 200 exhibitions during its 22 years of operation. The gallery, located in a historic 1860's storefront, closed its doors in June 2016 and has since been transformed into a boutique hotel.
Founded by Michal Smith and Rick De Coyte, Silicon Gallery was instrumental in promoting artists and their works, many of which remain available for purchase. After the gallery's closure, both founders moved on to pursue new endeavors, with Smith becoming the executive director of Cradles to Crayons and De Coyte establishing a print studio in Maine.
