Goodwill Ambulance Transport provides medical care and medical transportation services to the citizens of Pennsylvania. It is a full-service provider offering a wide range of services, such as emergency medical, and local and long distance ambulance services. The agency also offers chaircar services that include wheelchair and ambulatory van services. In addition, it provides orientation and in-service education for local ambulance squads, private industry and other public safety organizations. The agency organizes various events that include training for professionals, community education, fund raisers and community events. Goodwill Ambulance Transport has been offering community services to more than 10 municipalities within three counties since 1871. It is located in Pottstown, Pa.

The core mission of the Pennsylvania Emergency Health Services Council is to serve as an independent advisory body to the PA Department of Health and all other appropriate agencies on matters pertaining to Emergency Medical Services.
