Sadsbury Woods Preserve, located in Coatesville, PA, is a 511-acre natural sanctuary that forms part of the largest remaining unfragmented woodlands in Chester County. This preserve is not only a vital habitat for various bird species, including Scarlet Tanagers and Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, but it also plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and clarity of Buck Run, a significant tributary to Brandywine Creek.

Established in 1996 by Natural Lands, Sadsbury Woods Preserve was initially acquired as 177 acres of forested land, strategically positioned amidst expanding development in western Chester County. Over the years, additional parcels were obtained, expanding the preserve to its current size.
