The Riviera Hotel and Casino, which opened on April 20, 1955, was a historic Las Vegas destination known for its iconic entertainment and revolutionary design as one of the first high-rise resorts on the Strip. An awfully dark place with very strong beer stench. Seems to be mostly patronized by the locals. There was someone found dead behind the parking lot a few years ago. Everyone seems very friendly...
