Remed Recovery Care Vocational Program

Based in Wernersville, Pa., Phoebe Berks Village Commons is an assisted living community operated by Phoebe Ministries, a nonprofit organization that specializes in health care, housing and support services for older persons. Phoebe Berks Village Commons provides assistance with the daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, medications monitoring, meal preparation and housekeeping. It includes more than 190 apartments, over 30 cottages, nearly 50 private rooms, a four-bed infirmary and dining room. The facility offers a wide variety of services and facilities, including licensed nurses, health care and rehabilitative services, individual dietary programs, spiritual support, emergency response systems, a beauty salon, barbershop and transportation. Its community center offers various facilities, including a cafe, bank, swimming pool, convenience store, chapel, library and woodworking shop. Additionally, it offers a wide variety of recreational activities, games, massage therapy, and fitness and wellness programs. The assisted living facility is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.
