YMCA of Laurel Highlands

The Regional Family YMCA of Laurel Highlands maintains a fitness center and full-service gymnasium. It provides licensed child care services and recreational activities related to art, music and science. Located in Mount Pleasant, Pa., the organization offers the SilverSneakers fitness program, which focuses on improving muscular strength and endurance, mobility, flexibility and agility. The Regional Family YMCA of Laurel Highlands also conducts basketball and volleyball events. Its membership is open for youths, families, children and senior citizens. Its preschool program offers a variety of social and academic activities for children. The organization s child area features several toys, books, and arts and crafts items. The Regional Family YMCA of Laurel Highlands additionally conducts Pilates and body sculpting classes.
