History

The Reading Theater Project was founded in 2003 by Joel Gori with the goal of creating a collective of professional theater artists in Reading and Berks County.

Reading Theater Project is a locally-focused, professional theater company, based in Greater Reading, Pennsylvania, which produces new and unique theater. Risk-taking and art-making are at the forefront of what we do. We focus on the creative process, valuing collaboration and creative challenges. We believe theater is an inclusive experience which can reveal and elevate our shared human condition.
