Pritam U Tayshetye, MD

Neeta Pathe, MD is a medical oncologist with AHN Cancer Institute, specializing in the development of customized plans of care for patients with cancer and blood disorders. She applies best-practice techniques and procedures to help ensure long-term patient outcomes. Dr. Pathe went to medical school at Government Medical College in Maharashtra, India. She did her residency and her fellowship in hematology/oncology at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Pathe is certified by the American Board of Medical Oncology and Hematology and is affiliated with the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. She welcomes patients ages 18 and older.

Dr. Swegal treats patients with head and neck cancer, salivary gland disease, thyroid disease, sleep apnea, and head and neck tumors. He maintains a clinical interest in these conditions, as well as xerostomia research. He is experienced in transoral robotic surgery, hypoglossal nerve stimulator, endoscopic sinus surgery, and sialoendoscopy. He received the Wayne State School of Medicine Excellence in Teaching Award for 2018 and was the Henry Ford Hospital Outstanding Resident Award Nominee that same year. He speaks English.

Dr. Bindu V. Rusia is a radiation oncology specialist, dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and compassion to her patients in Pittsburgh and western Pennsylvania. She specializes in head, neck, and breast malignancies, and has a general practice treating a wide variety of malignancies. Dr. Rusia received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where she graduated at the top of her class with induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She went on to complete her radiation oncology training at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute. Dr. Rusia has authored over 10 textbook chapters and over 20 peer-reviewed published articles about head and neck, breast, and lung cancer. She has presented her research at a number of national and international radiation oncology society meetings. She is also a peer reviewer for the International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology and Physics.
