History

Primarily Portraits was started to create a way for portrait subjects to meet artists who could paint their image in a comfortable way. We make the match between portrait subjects and artists on the basis of compatible personalities and vision. Primarily Portraits has already vetted the artists for technical skill and reliability. We consider time constraints, requirements of the sitter, as well as location of the artist and subject. Beyond the selection of the artist, we will continue to work with you to help create your special portrait. It is important to create this unique work of art in a harmonious fashion. Framing is an important detail; we use one of the finest craftsmen in the area. We will even help with the dedication of the portrait, if needed.
