A portion of the property was farmed for a number of years While the other part was used as a metal recycling facility. When Giacomo fell ill,in is his later years, his son, James Augustus Matteo and James's brothers took over the daily operations.They ran the farm & metal facilities for a number of years until the farm was eventually put out of service and the recycling facility grew over the farm area.
