Wheaton Village is a nonprofit art-based organization located in Millville, N. J. It houses a collection of more than 6,500 objects in a 20,000-square-foot exhibition area. The collection is shown in period rooms and organized chronologically, beginning with a piece from the 1739 Wistarburgh Glass Works, America's first successful glass factory. Some of the other glass factories represented includes Mount Washington, Pairpoint, Durand and Tiffany. Other exhibits include mason jars, paperweights, Victorian art glass, uranium glass, free-blown whimsies. Works of contemporary artists such as Paul J. Stankard, Dale Chihuly and Ginny Ruffner can be seen at the art gallery.
