Waterbridge was started by Pauline Capparell, who has over 35 years of experience in health care. Pauline began her career as a nurse in Hazleton, PA. She went back to work in long-term care after she had raised her two sons. She quickly rose from the overnight nurse to the director of nursing for the facility. Pauline had quickly established a reputation for running a very efficient facility. After complaining to the higher-ups at the company that the facilities were being set up incorrectly, her company asked her to travel the country and fix all of their other facilities.
