Pennypack trail is a really good trail. It's hard packed gravel and level. Former train tracks. Great place for running, hiking, biking, and fishing along the creek.

Great trail that was very busy the days I visited around Thanksgiving. There are many off shoots to venture on. I think it would make it great place to cross country ski.
