Penna State Police

The Pennsylvania State Police, established in 1905, protects lives and properties, focuses on maintaining peace and order, and deters crime through education, prevention and proactive police service. It employs a staff of more than 4,500 full-time sworn officers and over 1,600 full- and part-time civilians and community volunteers.
