Millersville University is one of the leading providers of higher education in the United States. MU is approved by the Middle States Association, Pennsylvania Department of Education, American Association of University Women, Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs, and National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education. The university enrolls more than 10,000 graduate and undergraduate students, and offers a wide range of academic programs, including associate, baccalaureate, master's, specialist, doctoral and professional degrees. It offers a wide variety of courses, such as African-American studies, environmental and marine sciences, general education programs, international studies, Latin American studies, student teaching, women's studies, and foreign languages and literatures.
