Incorporated in 1967, The Consortium is a nonprofit mental health center that provides a range of behavioral care services in western and southwestern Philadelphia. It serves children, adults and senior citizens. The center also offers residential mental health and drug and alcohol counseling solutions. The Consortium serves social, recreational and educational needs of citizens above the age of 60. In addition, it operates the Southwest Senior Center and the Sunshine Senior Center.
