Child Health Association of Sewickley offers a wide range of charitable programs for children. It addresses health and well-being as well as drug and alcohol abuse, motor vehicle accidents, domestic violence, HIV, infant mortality, teenage pregnancy, suicide and child abuse. Child Health directs funds towards programs and services designed to prevent these problems and to challenge and inspire children to reach their full potential. Child Health volunteers raise funds for children who need basic food, shelter, clothing and health care. It offers preventive programs to target high-risk behaviors, including counseling, parent education and child advocacy programs; playground and computer equipment; camps, libraries and performing arts programs; and other cultural and educational facilities.
