Emily Rice, PA-C Emily Rice, PA-C, is a physician assistant with AHN Pediatric Institute, specializing in pediatrics. Her clinical interests include behavioral and mental health. She is skilled at providing pediatric medical care and minimally invasive, nonsurgical treatments. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Emily is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She prefers to look at the patient as a whole to ensure their specific physical and mental needs are met. She sees patients from birth to age 21.

Valerie Cole, CRNP Valerie Cole, CRNP, is a nurse practitioner with AHN Primary Care Institute, specializing in family medicine, women’s health, and pediatrics. She received her nursing diploma from UPMC Shadyside School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Valerie Cole completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Waynesburg University in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania and did her Master of Science in Nursing at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is certified as an AANP Family Nurse Practitioner and AANP Emergency Nurse Practitioner, with additional training in emergency medicine and trauma. Valerie Cole welcomes patients of all ages.
