Operation Scarlet

Operation Scarlet, Inc. Chinese Shar-Pei Rescue of Lancaster, PA, established in 1991, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing and improving the lives of abandoned, abused, or surrendered Shar-Pei dogs. With a mission to provide medical care, rehabilitation for behavioral issues, and find loving forever homes, Operation Scarlet has successfully rescued over 1,500 Shar-Pei since its inception.

Founded in memory of Scarlet, a Shar-Pei in need of a home, Operation Scarlet received its non-profit status in 1999 and operates as a 501(c)(3) organization. Through fundraisers like Extra Give and partnerships with community foundations, Operation Scarlet continues its commitment to saving and rehoming Shar-Pei in Lancaster, PA, and beyond.
