Our child centered approach to learning, focusing on nurturing and stable relationships, begins in our Infant classrooms and continues through Kindergarten. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum is aligned with the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards and is designed to meet each child's individual needs. We strongly support children's social and emotional development. All of our curricular planning and implementation respects each child's unique style of learning, using developmentally appropriate materials and equipment, and alternates between child-initiated and teacher-directed activities. Our teaching themes introduce ideas and concepts that invite the children to explore our world, and provide the foundations for scaffolding children's learning. Our goal is future school success. The curriculum includes: Language Arts, Creative Expression, Science, Technology, Math, Social Studies, Literacy, Physical Activities and Music.
