The Press Club of Western Pennsylvania is a nonprofit membership organization that has been supporting and recognizing excellence in journalism for nearly 60 years. Based in downtown Pittsburgh, the club brings together journalists and communications professionals from a wide area, including 29 counties in Western Pennsylvania, as well as parts of Ohio and West Virginia. With a mission to encourage and support quality journalism in the region, the Press Club of Western Pennsylvania annually hosts the Golden Quill Awards, a prestigious event that celebrates professional and student achievements in journalism.
