History

Established in 1958 Nugent's Skilled Nursing was the first facility opened by The Nugent Group. What started out as a 17 bed facility was moved and upgraded to its current location in 1963. It was then renovated and additions completed in 1977 and again in 1997. With these renovations it now houses 54 rooms on a beautiful park-like setting only blocks from downtown Hermitage. The beautiful grounds include a pond and enclosed courtyard with flower beds and planters for residents and their families to enjoy. Nugent's employs a professional nursing staff providing round-the-clock personalized care. Their interdisciplinary teams provide a full range of support and treatment. Services are designed to assist each resident in reaching their optimal potential. All staff are pre-screened and up-to-date on all certificates and clearances.

Nugent's Skilled Nursing, a Continuing Care Retirement Community, offers 24-hour Skilled Nursing, Respite Care, Post-hospital and Post-surgical Rehabilitation, and features a Dedicated Memory Support Wing.
