Delta Community Supports is a social service organization that provides community living arrangements, social and recreational options and daily support services for adults with developmental disabilities. It also offers child day care, as well as foster family care and adoption services for children with serious health problems. In addition, the organization provides respite care services for family caregivers. Established in 1977, Delta Community Supports offers job training and placement and home-based rehabilitative services. Its community center organizes various activities related to arts and crafts, horticulture, gardening, music, sensory awareness, dance and leisure games. The organization has a staff of more than 60 employees, including case managers and crisis consultants. Delta Community Supports maintains one of its locations in Glenside, Pa.
