From a small store front office on Main Street in Sandy Lake, Pa., to nearly 10 branches in eight localities, Mercer County State Bank has grown from assets of $185,970 in 1912 to assets totaling more than $233 million. Mercer County Sate Bank was chartered on June 20, 1911. It was the result of a reorganization of the Sandy Lake Bank, which was organized in 1873, and the Mercer County Bank, which was organized in 1893. The bank offers a variety of checking account options, such as personal checking, small business checking, business advantage checking, hi-fi money market checking, hometown advantage checking, premium checking, eChecking and home free checking accounts, as well as overdraft protection.
