National Institute-Emergency
The National Institute of Emergency Care, Inc. (N.I.E.C.) is a non-profit organization founded in 1975 that specializes in emergency medical education for both prehospital and emergency department settings. They offer courses in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) CPR, and Automatic External Defibrillator Training (AED) as sanctioned by the American Heart Association.
With a faculty of over one hundred instructors, many of whom are renowned experts in their field, N.I.E.C. has expanded its reach beyond southeastern Pennsylvania, providing training as far away as Sofia, Bulgaria and Santiago, Chile.
