MMSD dancers are recognized for their lovely, clean technique and are often complimented as having no bad dance habits. In both the Primary (ages 4 & 5) & PreBallet (6 & older) , classes are based on a ballet technique class to prepare student for further dance training and create a foundation of movement. Classes begin with a structured warm up, proceed to simple stretching to warm up the joints, continue with across the floor skills, and finish with a fun dance but one with a purpose. We promote a healthy, non-competitive atmosphere where students are able to learn and grow in a class of their own level. Along with offering the best & newest dance training, our instructors are dedicated to encouraging high morale, self-esteem, responsibility, and perseverance. We present an annual holiday ballet each December. We are the only school in a 4 county area to produce a Nutcracker.
