During World War II, Frank Paules started Crescent Industries as Summit Machine Works. He machined gun turret castings and wheel housings for PT boats. After the war, the company began building compression, transfer and injection molds for plastics. In 1946, Paules renamed the company Crescent Industries and began producing molds for plastics. The company offers mold design consultation and comprehensive manufacturing support and is ISO 9001:2000 certified.
