Middlesex County Clerk s Office, also known as the Keeper of the Records, is one of the oldest offices in the state of New Jersey. It is responsible for a variety of functions, including the issuance of county identification cards and filing of trade name certificates and military discharges. The office swears in and certifies notaries, as well as records documents related to the purchase and sale of real estate. Middlesex County Clerk s Office also files subdivision maps and issues veteran peddler licenses. It operates a registry division that maintains various land ownership records, such as deeds, mortgages, maps, liens, releases, easements, trade names and assignments. The office also has an elections division that performs a variety of functions related to voter lists, absentee ballots and election law enforcement reports. The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging, located in Doylestown, Pa., offers a wide variety of services and programs for senior citizens in Bucks County. The agency offers programs to assist senior citizens and their families remain independent and prevent premature institutionalization. It offers more than 20 programs, which include assisted living, nursing facilities and transportation. The agency additionally offers nutritional and in-home services that include assistance with bathing, dressing, grocery shopping, meal preparation and supervision of medications. The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging is a member of the Pennsylvania Department of Aging.

The Health Department is administered by the government of Burlington County in New Jersey. The department provides a variety of health services, including chronic illness screening and communicable disease and pollution control. The Health Department also offers substance abuse rehabilitation and dental, maternal and child health care solutions to low-income individuals and families. It undertakes immunization drives throughout the county. The department is responsible for administering supplemental food programs for women, infant and children. In addition, the Health Department inspects recreational bathing facilities, youth camps, campgrounds, housing units, and public and retail food establishments. The department provides rabies and tuberculosis control services.
