Christiana Care Health System, a nonprofit health system, is one of the largest health care providers in the United States. The hospital offers an array of services, such as joint replacement, cystic fibrosis, urogynecology, occupational therapy and sinus surgery, to name a few. Its facility comprises of two hospitals with more than 1,100 patient beds, a home health care service, preventive medicine, rehabilitation services, a network of primary care physicians and an extensive range of outpatient services. It has received accreditation from The American Association of Blood Banks, The Joint Commission and The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, among others.
