HistoryI have always been an entrepreneur. I watched my father work in different businesses with different people his whole life. He taught me to never give up and to learn from each experience. In the past, I have seen moderate success and have been through ultimate failure. It's not how hard you fall, but how you rise. I've been in the ashes and I continue to get back up. In '08, I was impacted by the bad economy. I was one of many in a wave of layoffs and struggled to find work. In the meantime, I developed a martial arts program at a local YMCA and started training students privately. The demand for my services grew and my students inspired me to open my own facility. My best days are when a parent comes to me and tells me how I have changed their child's life. How I showed them the courage their child had within.
