In Media where I practice as a general internist, I will work with our entire team to enable you to receive full care on site or in conjunction with other trusted providers in the local or Penn Medicine community. In addition to the clinical care, I teach trainees and colleagues in the field and while my focus is on lipid management, lipid derangements are just one pillar of the preventive cardiology foundation required for long-term cardiovascular health and well-being. This is truly a team effort where we can provide clinical attention, nutrition and genetic counseling, advanced biochemical and imaging or even apheresis when appropriate. In some cases, the connection to our research program may enable participation in a clinical trial with novel therapy, or even just to explore your rare lipid issue in more detail.
