Aubrey Kendig, CNM Aubrey Kendig is a midwife serving patients ages 12 and older at the AHN Women Institute. She specializes in holistic health care for women throughout their lifespan, by providing contraception counseling, labor and delivery care, and annual well visits. She earned an undergraduate degree in nursing from University of Pittsburgh with clinical work practiced at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She then completed her professional education at University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. Aubrey is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board. She can be seen for appointments at Jefferson Hospital or at her other locations in Uniontown and Brentwood.

Abigail Slocum, DNP, CNM Abigail is a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing. She specializes in well-women annual checkups, gynecology care, family planning and contraceptive services, and pregnancy care including prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. Abigail earned both a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Pittsburgh. She’s certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board, and she’s a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives. She’s committed to a holistic approach that emphasizes patient education to empower women to make informed and personal decisions about their care.

Stephanie Ehland is a certified nurse midwife and certified registered nurse practitioner who helps patients stay healthy with prenatal care, pregnancy, and family planning. She is clinically interested in breastfeeding, supporting physiologic birth, and clinical aromatherapy. She provides contraception management, pessary fitting, and newborn circumcision. She sees patients of all ages and speaks English. Midwifery means “with woman” and Stephanie believes her job is to assist women in making informed decisions for themselves and their families. Because what works for one woman does not necessarily work for all, she delivers individualized, evidence-based care to make our communities stronger. Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and her Bachelor of Arts degree in women studies from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. She completed a Master of Science from the University of Pennsylvania. She is board-certified as a women’s health nurse practitioner by the National Certification Corporation, as an international board-certified lactation consultant, and as a certified nurse midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
