Magdaliz and Her Latin Band Crisol (Spanish for melting pot), is an ensemble that has been performing in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas since 1997. This Latin Band is dedicated to the interpretation of a variety of folk and traditional music genres from Cuba, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and other parts of Latin America. Romantic Puerto Rican Boleros, feisty Cuban Sones, energetic Mexican Mariachi music, sensuous Colombian Cumbias, contagious Dominican Merengues, are among the many styles that we perform. We will give you and your guests a night to remember dancing to beautiful songs from all over Latin America. Workshops, weddings, holidays, residencies, galleries, museums, Penn's Landing, Universities, private affairs, outdoors, festivals, we have done them all.
