Misericordia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was founded in 1943. Our mission is to serve our residents with a heart of mercy by providing kind, patient, and compassionate care that meets individual needs and preferences. Misericordia is a 50-bed Medicare certified skilled nursing facility which offers 24-hour skilled nursing care as well as assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing, toileting, bathing and eating. In addition, we offer physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy for your rehabilitation needs. We also offer hospice services for end of life needs as well as respite services for care givers who need a break from the challenges of caring for a loved one at home.

The Shrewsbury Lutheran Retirement Village is a retirement community that is located in Shrewsbury, Pa. It serves York County, Pa., and northern Maryland. The Village s residential living community offers private residences for people who desire an independent lifestyle with the privacy of a home but without the chores of maintenance. It offers cottage community private residences for people desiring an active life with many social and recreational opportunities and 24-hour security. It also provides a more than 70-bed assisted living facility for those who need assistance with the activities of daily living. Other services available to those who need it are medication assistance, wellness management, housekeeping and linen service, and respite care. It also offers a nursing and rehabilitation center, staffed with skilled professionals, that provides 24-hour short- and long-term nursing care and rehabilitation.
