Concordia Visiting Nurses is a nonprofit home health care agency. The agency has been in operation since 1997 and serves patients throughout Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Mercer, Washington and Westmoreland counties in Pennsylvania. It provides assistance with a variety of daily living activities. The agency also provides physical, speech and occupational therapies. Concordia Visiting Nurses offers medication reminder and ostomy and wound care services. The agency is certified by Medicaid and Medicare. It serves individuals suffering from diabetes, cancer, arthritis, and heart and lung diseases. In addition, Concordia Visiting Nurses provides personal care, housekeeping and meal preparation services. The agency is a part of Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

The Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center, also known as Greater Johnstown Area Vocational Technical School, offers a variety of academic and enrichment programs. The center serves the career and work force development needs of adults and high school students in the Greater Johnstown area in Pennsylvania. It offers adult education and training programs, as well as motorcycle safety classes. The center also administers vocational and English as a Second Language programs. The Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center has been in operation for more than 35 years. Its industrial training programs serve over 1500 employees annually and provides financial aids. The Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center operates a student council.
