Robert E. Myers, a second-generation funeral director from Philadelphia, purchased this funeral home from Mr. Shaeff in 1978 to form Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home. Robert's son, Richard, became a licensed funeral director in 1996, making him the sixth-generation funeral director.
