History

Kona Ice was created in Northern Kentucky in 2007, born out of a bad experience with an ice cream truck. Tony Lamb was determined to revitalize a nostalgic industry that had fallen into shambles. The first franchised Kona Entertainment Vehicles rolled out over the next few years, some reaching North Carolina in early 2010. As of early 2018, there are now nearly 1000 KEVs rolling around neighborhoods all over delighting people of all ages.

Our business specializes in happiness in a cup. Our shaved ice is light and fluffy with over 40 proprietary, bold, nutritious, and delicious flavors to choose from. Our tropical themed entertainment vehicles scream excitement and fun from the colorful cartoon characters to the iconic steel drum calypso style music. We bring the fun to you!
