Rima Ahmad, MDDr. Ahmad, MD, FACS, believes that medical care, especially surgery, should be tailored to each patient's unique situation. To meet this goal, she uses her experience in endoscopic, robotic, and laparoscopic procedures, in addition to traditional open surgery, so she can offer each patient the right approach for their needs. With over 20 years of experience, he performs state-of-the-art hepatobiliary surgery and minimally invasive robotic liver and gall bladder surgery. He is also an expert in living donor liver transplantation. Dr. Uemura is System Director of AHN Center for Abdominal Transplantation and Hepatobiliary Surgery and Professor of Surgery at Drexel University School of Medicine.Dr. Uemura earned his medical degree at Okayama University Medical School and completed his surgical residency at Okayama University Hospital in Okayama, Japan.
