The effort of Kestrel Hotel comes from an intent to create stylish and comfortable apart-hotel that we ourselves would want to stay in. We want our guests to feel like they are part of the neighborhood, and this first starts with a building like no other in Philadelphia. The Kestrel is the tallest ICF (insulated concrete form) construction project ever erected in Philadelphia. ICF's create an extremely energy efficient envelope, but most importantly the apartments are quiet, and almost completely sealed off from the noises of Center City Philadelphia. These two factors made us realize that these apartments were perfect for guests who are looking for exceptional comfort while traveling. Curating each space to exceed the expectations of our guests was the next step, and using local suppliers and partners was critical in developing an inspiring environment that fosters happiness in our guests.
