The Scott Conservancy is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of green spaces in Scott Township, Pennsylvania. Since its founding in 1989, the Conservancy has successfully protected over 77 acres of land, encouraging public appreciation and respect for the environment.
In addition to managing the Kane Woods Nature Area, the Conservancy operates an apiary, engages in environmental projects such as the Scrubgrass Run Abandoned Mine Drainage Project, and collaborates with local officials on development issues.
