Founded in 1890, KANE Manufacturing designs, manufactures and markets a full line of security screens. The company s proprietary security screen system installs in the window reveal of an existing window and is designed similar to a prehung door. The door portion has a heavy steel or aluminum frame that holds stainless steel wire cloth or a steel perforated panel. KANE manufactures more than 20 models of security screens to meet various threat and security levels, including light-, medium- and heavy-level vandalism applications, medium- and maximum-level security applications, and medium- and maximum-level barrier and perimeter security solutions. The company has expertise in security screen applications for public schools, colleges and universities, public housing projects and health care facilities. KANE Manufacturing has its corporate offices and a more than 125,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Kane, Pa.
