HISTORY OF JOHN V. SCHULTZ We have been your one-stop-shop for home furnishings since we first opened our doors in Erie in October 1940 at our original location at E. 8th St. just off State, occupying a former three floor Roth Cadillac showroom. The company later moved to 2402 W. 8th St. before moving to its current location at 7200 Peach St. on upper Peach & I–90. On its third generation of owners, brothers John and Matt Schultz, the company has evolved beyond Erie. In February 2016, the Schultz brothers opened their first Ashley HomeStore franchise location in Youngstown, Ohio. After having great success in Youngstown, another HomeStore was opened in the North Hills of Pittsburgh in May 2017.
