The high school also offers various extracurricular activities for its students, such as dance, music, and offers student councils and organizations. It also has a library that provides electronic resources, catalogues and Internet search tools. It also offers various sports activities, such as hockey, soccer, basketball, baseball, cross country and wrestling. The high school is a part of the Northwestern Lehigh School District and enrolls more than 750 students.

Catasauqua Area School District administration, elementary, middle, and high school teachers, and union leaders collaborated during the 2004-2005 school year to create a differentiated supervision program that provides increased opportunities for professional learning without sacrificing quality assurance.
