Jennifer Schaefer, CRNP

Dr. Donnelly is a pediatrician who provides high-quality, comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents. He has special clinical interests in breastfeeding and the release of tongue-tie (frenotomy). He earned a medical degree and completed a residency at State University of New York in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Donnelly has been named a fellow of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine. He’s certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Donnelly was a member of the Pediatric Alliance Board of Directors. He is the former president of the Allegheny County Health Department’s Breastfeeding Coalition.

Andrea Cooper, CRNP, is a nurse practitioner with AHN Primary Care Institute, specializing in pediatrics and internal medicine. Andrea received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and her Master of Science in Nursing from University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is a member of both the National and Pennsylvania Chapters of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She sees patients from newborn to age 22.

Karen Kavanagh, CPNP Karen Kavanagh, CPNP, is a pediatric nurse practitioner with AHN Pediatric Institute, specializing in patient education and holistic care. She is skilled at performing well-child examinations, providing routine developmental screenings, diagnosing and treating common childhood illnesses, and educating parents with anticipatory guidance for their children. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Karen is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is also a certified breastfeeding counselor. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurses and Practitioners. Her philosophy is that primary care is the foundation of your child’s health. Karen sees patients from newborn to 21 years of age.
